Patience

I was talking to someone the other day and she said "if I could have a wish granted, it would be to have PATIENCE".

I believe that many lives would be better if people practiced more patience. The United States of America has just completed an election process that surprised the world. Some people were happy and some were disappointed at the results. But the way I see it, no matter who has been elected to be the president of the united states, if you are a believer, when you went to sleep that night as a Christian, JESUS CHRIST was on the THRONE and when you woke up on November 9, 2016 OUR LORD AND SAVIOR WAS STILL ON THE THRONE.

The way I believe people can deal with the shock, hurt, sadness and all other emotions that one felt on November 9, 2016 is to TRUST GOD and have PATIENCE while He works. Amen. I want to share a reading with you about finding JOY while practicing patience.

PATIENCE

We choose to be either patient or impatient many times each day. We have to wait for people, computers, traffic lights, and the preparation of food. Impatience doesn't make us feel better. It only makes us nervous, angry, and unable to enjoy ourselves.

We learn patience by practicing. When we drive up to a flashing light at a railroad crossing, instead of turning around and finding another route, we can wait. We can turn off the engine, relax, think, pray, look around or listen to music. We can watch as children do, wondering what's inside the boxcars, noticing signs of where they've been or where they're going. A quiet moment like this won't spoil our day or destroy our schedule. It just might help us, refresh us, calm us down, and remind us to be PATIENCE.

"I let go of impatience and enjoy each moment" God Bless America".
